Three Root Elements
The green ribbon below represents Medicine, with the three root elements in Latin: Dental Medicine (center), Medicine and Surgery (sides).
Our Heritage & Future
The Specialty of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is Rooted in Dentistry, Medicine and Surgery, and has Traditionally Been the Bridge Between the Two Professions of Dentistry and Medicine. In Recent Times the Bridge Has Continued to Shrink to the Point of Becoming Interdigitated in a Symbiotic, Synergistic Manner, That Has Catapulted the Specialty to New and Impressive Heights Internationally.
We Seek to Soar to Those Same Heights, and to Practice the Full Scope of Our Internationally Recognized Specialty. We Strongly Encourage the 'Future Generations' to Slowly Make the Transition to Dual Education, and Expanded Scope and to Represent Philippine Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the Global Arena; at the Same Time We are Committed to Strengthening and Supplementing the Existing Education, Knowledge and Skills of Our Current Generation. We Remain Likewise Loyal to, and Proud of Our Dental Heritage.
